The Vision Hub at Freeport

Highly recommend! I had what I called an minor emergency and needed a pair on contacts immediately. Shealyn and Allison came to the rescue and was able to provide me a pair of contacts to get me through! Fantastic customer service!

Everyone at the Vision Hub were very friendly and helpful especially Allison, Teresa, and Jenna. The doctor took her time and was very attentive. They have a very nice selection of eyewear. I was happy that they took the time to explain all of the charges for each add on. We are happy to have found them and will use them again next year!

After relocating full time to Freeport we were looking for a new optical facility for glasses and contacts.Our neighbors recommended your place and we couldn't be happier. Dr Laird and staff were so professional and everyone so friendly. The office just felt like home. They answered all of my questions and were very helpful when i was picking out my new frames. We will definitely recommend you to others!

I had a great experience at Vision Hub getting new glasses and adjustments. The manager, Allison Wheeler, did an excellent job—she was professional, attentive, and made sure everything fit perfectly. She took the time to explain the adjustments and ensured I was completely satisfied before I left. The service was efficient, friendly, and high quality. My wife and I have been on vacation and had to repair my wife’s eyeglasses when the glasses broke. Vision hub saved the day repairing them fast and didnt charge me anything. Very friendly and helpful. Thank you!

This vision center is top notch. The entire team is incredibly friendly and accommodating, even to new patients.They stayed past business hours to take care of me and didn’t rush anything the entire way through. Was my first-time here, and every single person I interacted with was exceptionally kind and informative during my eye exam. Highly recommend, especially if you’re in the Freeport area.

From the minute you walk in the door you are greeted with a smile. Everyone from the receptionist to the techs are very helpful. Dr. Laird is very informative and answered all of my questions/concerns. I would highly recommend.

I am very thankful for the Vision Hub. I am 85 yrs old and just recently moved to Flordia. Everyone in the off made me feel so at home and took care of all my needs.

I honestly don’t even know where to begin, because my experience at Vision Hub in Freeport was so much more than just an eye exam. I truly believe God placed the right people in the right place at exactly the right time. One morning, I woke up and noticed I couldn’t see, and I was losing vision on the left side of my left eye. It lasted about 30 minutes before my vision returned. About an hour later, a horrible headache came on, and little did I know I was about to suffer through an optic migraine for the next six days. It took me six days to finally make myself go to an eye doctor. I have struggled with severe anxiety surrounding eye appointments since childhood, and because of a traumatic experience with having my eyes dilated, I had avoided the eye doctor for over 15 years. So when I finally walked through the doors of Vision Hub at 29 years old, I was terrified. But by the grace of God, I was able to sit in that discomfort, surrender my need for control, and trust Him to give me the strength and peace to get through it. And He absolutely did. First, Shealyn at the front desk. From the moment I told her what had happened, she was genuinely concerned. She asked questions, listened, and went to speak with the people in the back because she wanted to make sure I was seen. I didn’t have the money to pay for anything that day, and they still found a way to help me by setting up a payment plan. They absolutely did not have to do that. Shealyn, thank you for taking those extra steps and caring enough to advocate for me. Allison, the manager, was also incredible. When I found out I would have to have my eyes dilated, I had moments where I genuinely wanted to panic and walk out. Allison talked to me, distracted me with conversations about kids, and even offered to stay with me if I wanted her there. She never made me feel ridiculous or ashamed. Thank you, Allison, for showing me so much patience and kindness. Then there was Miranda, the technician. She helped me through the testing and procedures and explained everything before she did it—why she was doing it, what she was checking for, and what I could expect. That alone helped calm my nerves so much. She also managed to make me laugh through some of the scary moments. 😂 I had several “Hang on, hang on, hang on!” moments before I was ready for the drops, and she was always patient enough to let me take my time. When I was crying or overwhelmed, she never rushed me or made me feel ridiculous. Thank you, Miranda, for putting up with all my “hang on, hang on” moments, making me laugh when I was scared, and helping me through something that was extremely difficult for me. And Dr. Hudson, the optometrist, was incredibly informative, thorough, curious, and comforting. She listened to me, asked questions, showed genuine concern, and never made me feel belittled or dramatic. She was gentle and patient, and that brought me so much comfort. Thank you, for bringing reassurance, wisdom, and compassion! You are so gentle! There was something especially comforting about being surrounded by women throughout this entire experience—women who met my fear and vulnerability with compassion instead of judgment. Every person I interacted with worked so well together, and it was obvious they genuinely cared. And thankfully, I received wonderful news: my eyes were healthy and my vision was 20/20. Really shocked by that still, by the way! I will absolutely be back. This is officially my vision home, and I can confidently say it will NOT take another 15 years for me to come back to the eye doctor. 😂 I recommend Vision Hub in Freeport 100%. And above all, I give God the glory for getting me through those doors and giving me the courage to finally face something I had been afraid of for so many years.

To say my eyes were well taken care of by Dr. Hudson would be an under statement! Professional, on-time, and very knowledgeable. I would recommend her to family and friends.

Dr. Natalie is great! Friendly, knowledgeable, so helpful! She always has a great attitude and answers any of my eye questions in a way that even I can understand! Do yourself a favor and go SEE Dr. Natalie :)

Beyond grateful for the team at Freeport Vision Hub for taking such great care of my daughter during her visit. She was very nervous about having her eyes dilated for the first time, but Ms Reagan was very patient with her and comforted her along the way. Dr Hudson was amazing too! She chatted with her to ease her nerves and showed her all the cool photos of her back of her eye. My daughter was in awe! Ms Shealyn came in clutch with the post-apt candy and Ms. Allison helped her pick out great frames. I highly recommend Vision Hub for all of your optical needs!
